A professor is found dead on Halloween with a stake through her heart and Hobson reveals she shared a house with the victim in her university days. A medium visits Lewis claiming to have foreseen the tragedy, and ghostly messages spelled out in fridge magnet letters start appearing in a house occupied by four students. As the detective struggles with the possibility his friend is somehow implicated in the crime, a tale of jealousy and revenge begins to unfold. Rupert Graves and Niamh Cusack guest star.
