Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer help to settle the squabbles of warring couples across the UK. In Weybridge, a newly retired couple are at an impasse over their riverside cottage. Barbara is desperate to start afresh somewhere new but Stephen is reluctant to any change whatsoever. In East Grinstead, the dysfunctional downstairs layout and cramped kitchen of Lucy and Lynton's three-bedroom semi is causing them to eat meals in the bedroom. He is set on leaving, but she thinks the unused downstairs can be solved - with a little help.
