Journalist Mobeen Azhar visits Kirkby, Merseyside to find out how a peaceful protests outside a hotel housing asylum seekers turned into a riot in February 2023 and uncovers the blueprint for a national wave of violent riots that took place across the country in the summer of 2024. Mobeen is soon confronted with serious allegations about what a group of asylum seekers have supposedly been up to in the small town, and attempts to uncover the truth but locals close ranks and warn each other against speaking to him, claiming Mobeen and the film crew will twist their words to make them look bad.
