Housing officers in Harrow receive a tip-off about an overcrowded property and when they arrive they find 10 people living in dire conditions and a house that needs extensive emergency work. Squatters in Tottenham invade an elderly woman's home while she is away, ransacking the property and refusing to leave. In Waltham Abbey a seemingly perfect tenant forges her way into a desperate landlord's home, forcing him to move in with his parents while he struggles to evict his unruly occupant.
