But when he told his tenant, things quickly turned sour and the man stopped paying rent and refused to leave. Plus, the story of a pub owner in Lincolnshire trying to evict his tenant, having rented it 10 years ago on a 'gentleman's handshake'. Now, however, he is owed a staggering ?40,000 in unpaid rent.
